Virgin Nigeria has cancelled its long haul flights to Britain in the face of increasing financial constraints.The Nigerian flag carrier has announced the suspension of services to destinations in the UK from January 27, following growing pressure from British Airways, Virgin Atlantic and Arik Air on many of its routes.The airline, which was launched in 2005, has disclosed that passengers already booked onto flights after this date will be transferred to other carriers at no extra cost.
